gardening for climate resilience

Weather extremes seem to be occurring on a more frequent basis all around the country.  And severe weather has a distinct bearing on our ability to garden successfully.  Climate Resilient Gardening is about being aware of how climatic conditions impact your region and how to have a vibrant garden that tolerates and even thrives under these wild swings in weather.  We’ll discuss several different gardens we have recently installed at Sarah P. Duke Gardens, the features these gardens offer, the exposures they endure, and the plants that are performing in them.
